January 3 - January 6

3.  A Little Sumpin' Sumpin' - Ale (Wheat IPA) - Lagunitas Brewing - Petaluma, CA - 7.5% ABV - 52 IBUs

This is one of my favorite beers to order, and to drink.  Seriously, just say it!!!  It is delicious.  The big question is under what category to rank it.  I am going to put it in the ale section, why, because it isn't fully hoppy enough in taste to be a full IPA, and definitely not just a pure wheat.  Does this make sense?  Probably not, but it is my rankings, and Lil Sumpin' Sumpin' Ale sounds good.  Fruity notes with hoppy bitterness?  Shoots to number 1 - at least for now.

4.  Hop Commander - Double IPA - Captain Lawrence Brewing - Elmsford, NY - 6.5% ABV - 65 IBUs

A solid, but not great Double IPA.  Not super bitter for a double, and I am looking for that extra bitterness to really set a great double IPA apart.  I would drink it again, though.

5.  Better Than Never - Hazy IPA - Deviant Wolfe Brewing - Sanford, FL - 5.9 ABV - 38 IBUs

This was remarkably delicious.  More smoky than hazy, but that smokiness set off the light bitterness and the flavor of this great hazy!

6.  Witch Please!!! - Pumpkin Ale - Stormhouse Brewing - North Palm Beach, FL - 6.0% ABV - 30 IBUs

Solid, but not spectacular pumpkin.  No real allspice flavor, and just a hint of pumpkin.

7.  MacDaddy - Imperial Stout - Stormhouse Brewing - North Palm Beach - 10% ABV - 70 IBUs

Just absolutely delicious.  All I can say.

8.  Mom's Closet Pilsner - Coastal Karma Brewing - Lake Park, FL - 5.2% ABV - 25 IBUs

A nice, smooth, simple, easy pilsner.  If you are drinking a lot of beers, this is a good one to drink.

9.  Bud Light - Anheuser Busch Inbev - St. Louis, MO (and everywhere else) - 4.2% ABV

It's bud light.

10.  Dunder and Blixem - Spiced Winter Ale - Big Storm Brewing - Clearwater, FL - 8.8% ABV

This was really good.  I enjoyed it, and it is nice to have a good winter ale before they all disappear for a year.

11.  Winter Carnival - Winter Ale - Lone Pine Brewery - Portland, ME - 5.2% ABV

This beer is good, and the spice blend and coriander come to the forefront along with orange.  The only negative with this beer is that I had the previous beer and the next beer prior and after, respectively.

12.   Snowballs Deep - Imperial Stout with Cinnamon and Peppermint - Hop Life Brewing - Port St. Lucie, FL - 10.5 ABV

This beer is absolutely delicious.  The peppermint definitely outflavors the cinnamon, so a little bit more balance could make this perfect, but for a cold winter day/night - you could hardly do better than this beer.
