Back on track, with Memorial Day Weekend and my birthday during the past 7 days, that puts a few more beer entries into the blog.

154. Big Wave Golden Ale - Kona Brewing - Kailua-Kona, HA - 4.4% ABV

An easy drink. I feel like this would be a better beer with food than on its own, though.

155.  Kellerbier - Sam Adams Boston Brewing - Boston, MA - 5.0% ABV

A new kind of beer, so I get to add something to the list.  I honestly didn't know what a Kellerbier was before this, but it was delicious.  Not as deep an oak taste as oak barrels usually are, but that would be because it is tapped early in the process.  Still pretty delicious.

156.  Longboard Lager - Kona Brewing - Kailua-Kona, HA - 4.6% ABV

Very delicious lager, and very versatile.  Good with richer foods, or lighter snacks, or just to have some beers.

157.  Castaway IPA - Kona Brewing - Kailua-Kona, HA - 6.0% ABV

Very tasty, but not so much as an IPA.  It has some of the hoppy kick we like in IPAs, but not enough for it to ranks too high in this list, which has a lot of good quality IPAs already on it.  I would drink it again instead of a lager or ale, as I really liken it more to a pale ale than a true IPA.  And yes, you caught me ... I had a variety pack of Kona beers.

158.  Serenity Farmhouse Ale - Twisted Trunk Brewing - Palm Beach Gardens, FL - 4.5% ABV

I ordered this in memory of Jerry Stiller, even saying "Serenity Now" to the beertender, who at least got the reference.  A great saison, very tasty, if I didn't like the red at Twisted Trunk so much, I would order this more.

159.  Packing House (Juicy) IPA - Kelsey City Brewing - Lake Park, FL

A really good New England style IPA, and even though I don't ordinarily prefer juicies.  I forgot to write down the ABV, and as previously stated this brewery is so new their website is not up-and-running yet.  Not too pulpy, a bit hazy, but again not too much, which is exactly how I prefer my hazies.

160.  Orange Graffiti Fruit Wheat Ale - 7venth Sun Brewing - Dunedin, FL  5.2% ABV

Very delicious.  The orange gives this a bit of a different flavor than a lot of the wheats which seem to be trending toward pineapple, mango, raspberry types.  This would be great while out at the pool or a ball game or a picnic. 

161.  Birds Fly South Ale Project Saison - Brand New Eyes Brewing - Brand New Eyes Brewing - Greenville, SC -    5.5% ABV

Ok.  Just OK.

162.  Havana Lager - Concrete Beach Brewing - Miami, FL (Wynwood) - 5.2% ABV

A lot of flavor for a lager.  I enjoyed this one immensely.  This was a great way to start off my Wynwood Brewery Tour at home - given Covid-19 and all.  Wife bought several beers from each of the 4 Wynwood Breweries.  It was a great birthday.

163.  El Jefe - J Wakefield Brewing - Miami, FL (Wynwood) - 5% ABV

I was not expecting this to taste as good as it did.  I had just had a couple of Concrete Beach beers that were great (only one listed here now because I had had a couple of the flavors before so they are in earlier posts), so was expecting a bit of regression to the mean, but this one was exceptional.  Paired it wit some buffalo chicken pretzels, and wow, delicious snack time. And the name is appropriately punny. This walk down Wynwood Lane is becoming very good.

164.  Spanglish Latin Lager - Veza Sur Brewing - Miami, FL (Wynwood) - 4.2% ABV

People that know me know that Veza Sur is one of my favorite breweries, and I cannot wait to get down there in person for some more beer/sun/fun and can rate the brewery.  And, if you look at the lists below, Mangolandia is a highly rated Ale.  This is also very good.  A great lager.  Between this and the Havana Lager, Wynwood is producing some really flavorful lagers.

166.  Pop's Porter - Wynwood Brewing - Miami, FL (Wynwood) - 6.2% ABV

What a great way to end the Wynwood Brewing tasting.  This was number number 9 or 10, but the only really dark beer, and it was worth the wait!!!  The only problem for it in the ranking is that some of the porters and stouts that I have had so far have also been really good.
